Fixed-Mobile Convergence (FMC) is having a profound effect on the nature of the telecommunications industry. The market is moving away from a vertical, technology access approach to a horizontal, user-centric one. The primary focus of this workshop is not only to emphasise which players are strategically poised to win and implement the business models to support their strategies but also which technologies are available to support these new services. Through a concise series of presentations and interactive sessions, this workshop will highlight the key opportunities and threats for operators.

By the end of the workshop, participants will gain greater insight into the competitive landscape and profi tability matrix of evolving FMC models. This will help them to develop strategic business goals, thereby enabling them to retain their sustainable competitive advantage in a dynamic environment surrounding them.
